I just tested it and it works! Great! Mixer source TrmT problem is gone.

But I found a small problem, the "Navig RotEnc" is always "No" when you read the eeprom and flash it back.
Do I have to create an issue for it?

No heli. Heli settings are only there for adding swashplate mixing and quadcopters do not have a swashplate. Mixing is done in the flight controller board.

For multicopters there is not much difference. If you fly gliders, go for the flight fases of open9x! Just use the 4 channel plane template. Thanks. I just connected a frsky fld-02 to check the module. Module alarms work.
Programmed reasonable values for now.

After that I reconnected transmitter, changed values, connected fld-02 and values were not changed. So a bad wire/connector or software.

I reinstalled sam-ba 2.12 in c:\bin and started companion9x with administrator rights, but it doesn't work. After that I deinstalled 2.12 and installed 2.11 and it worked. So 2.11 works for me on windows 7 64 and on ubuntu 12.04. And 2.12 doesn't work for me on windows and not on ubuntu. Same eeprom...

Eeprom downloaden naar disk does work but with exit code 1. Importing that file works but things like mixer sources are not right. Thr instead of TrmT for example.

Vario works fine on stock and ersky9x board with open9x. Using a bmp085 (same as frsky) with a arduino as hub. It does do some averaging.
I have never used a real vario, but I find it very functional!

Just configured my ebay module. The original bluetooth name was linvor.
Used serial console of arduino ide. Settings: 9600, no line endings.
Used the attached manual.

You need "only" need 9. The tx zero custom switch can be reused..
But it is a workaround.

As a temporary fix you could try to use an extra custom switch to test if the tx value is zero and use an other switch with AND to test for both conditions.

Mike, would that mean that the pcb with opamp is not needed on ersky9x?
That would be a great option.

I think the vario source names are confusing: BaroV1 and BaroV2. Can they be renamed to FrSky and Halcy or something like that?
It would be much be much clearer I think.

The vario is working very nice by the way! Especially combined with the spoken height!

It works for now for me too. I didn't do something special. I just recalibrated a few times. 1 time calibration was not enough! But I still do not thrust the pot. I measured 1650ohm on one side, 1695ohm on the other side. I have the new tx from hk without the module and added the ersky9x board with ...

I repaired a 9x for a club member that had a bad connection to one end of the pot element inside and the symptoms were that his throttle range was not full. I think I also have a bad pod, can you tell me how you fixed it? The throttle has to be calibrated many times and the bottom half doesn't work.

It has always annoyed me that you also get a beep when you release the trim!
