Re: Turnigy 9x Throttle difficult to move stick!

I should of purchased 2 of them but I am cheap... besides why fix something that's not broken. The other one works fine and probably after I get through installing the new one the radio won't work anyway. :), I'll just screw it up and have to buy a new Taranis ;) IF, that doesn't happen then, I will...

You would think so. The stick does move but it takes an effort to do unlike the elevator stick. No finess moves here! I think the gimbal may be bad so I've ordered a Taranis gimbal to replace it.

Thanks for the fast response! I've taken this strap completely off and it made no difference.

Turnigy 9x Throttle difficult to move stick!

Hey,
My Turnigy 9x's throttle stick is a bitch to move up and down. Is there a magic adjustment under the hood that would fix this? I can't get a smooth response from the throttle to help land my quad...its like all or nothing movement. HALP!!!

It goes from 98.7% to -98.7%. Is that close enough or do I need new gimbals/pots?

Re: Not in a safe throttle position...

The calibration stores the centre position, and the amount of stick movement either side. Putting the throttle stick at one end, and not the centre when requested, results in incorrect calibration. I still think you have a problem with the throttle stick/pot. If you have calibrated the stick, then ...

Re: Not in a safe throttle position...

... I did the radio calibration several times,... I sugest that when you calibrate, dont force the sticks to their limits too much. Calibration should be a smooth and soft square movement. I did this just now and this time I also put the throttle stick at the lowest position instead of centering as...

Re: Not in a safe throttle position...

You need the throttle (A2) value to go to -100, not -95. If you have calibrated the sticks, then my best guess is the pot on the throttle stick is bad. Did you put the throttle stick in the centre, with the other sticks, during calibration? What firmware did you have on the original main board? Mik...

Re: Not in a safe throttle position...

A couple of things to try/check: 1. Go to the DIAGANA display. The Throttle stick is A2. Does this move between -100 and +100 as you move the throttle stick from end to end. 2. On the model setup, general, is "Thr. Default" set to End or Centre? (You want End). Mike. It goes to 100% up an...

Re: Not in a safe throttle position...

Have you got the Tx mode setting correct? If throttle is on the left stick, then you should be in mode 2. A quick test is to pull the other stick right back, does that clear the throttle warning? Hi dalaman, You only need the TX telemetry Black wire when using PXX protocol. See here for more info: (http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=126&t=7771&p=103368#p103368). Bob B. Bob, If I'm not using telemetry do I still need to hook up the b&w cables? I will be using the Eagle...

Re: 9Xtreme Upgrade Board for 9x Radios

I tried CH1 100% ALI +10%rud and it didn't work.
My ailerons are on ch1 and rud on ch4.
I then tried this: CH4 100% rud -10% ail and it works. Is this the correct way?

Am I supposed to see the micro sdcard with my Windows 10? result: I plug in the usb cable from the 9x to the computer and I don't see the sdcard. Should I? 2. How do I ...
