Re: Turnigy 9x unresponsive after flash attempt
rperkins, your bootable .iso saved the day. I had to install the latest Crosspack on the Mac back when 1.52 came out to get it working with the Taranis. Evidently it installed avrdude 6.x like you suspected. Just brought the 9x back to life with your little linux distribution. Thanks so much. That i...

Re: Turnigy 9x unresponsive after flash attempt
I'm not sure. I'll have to check. I'm on a Mac, and did have to update some things a while back to get Companion 1.52 working. I've been primarily using my Taranis, so I'm not sure I have flashed the 9x since those updates. Will do some more checking, and I do have your bootable .iso working on a th...

Turnigy 9x unresponsive after flash attempt
Hello folks. I hadn't updated firmware in my 9x in a while. It was running r2688, and I decided to update to r2940 this evening. First I downloaded the eeprom and saved it. The unit is stock except for the addition of a smartieparts board which has always worked flawlessly. I started the flash of r2...

Re: Taranis and MAC
Which revision of openTx are you running? In the bootloader I've written, I have support for the MAC in two ways: 1. I handle the EJECT command an (hopefully) stop the remount. 2. An option to keep the SD card offline to allow much faster mounting of the EEPROM drive. As I don't have a MAC, these a...

Re: Noob..Companion9x on mac issue
Hi, One last call for help. Getting the Taranis tomorrow and I need to plug it in to the computer to tinker :) Thanks I had to do some searching to find it again, but this solved it for me when 1.52 first came out. I simply installed the crosspack as described in this thread: http://openrcforums.co...

Re: Mac OSx- C9x reads 9x tx but not Taranis tx Help
For the firmware preference you have "opentx for 9x board". Change that to the Taranis board and it should work. It's right in the middle of your image. Hope that cures it.

Re: 9xr and Taranis... do I need two different C9X programs?
You should only have to change the Firmware setting in Preferences. I don't have a 9xr, but do that with Taranis and T9x. I haven't had the 9x attached in a few weeks though. Maybe I should confirm that.

Re: Mac update 1.36 (1.37) not working
It is strange. The 1.39 that is working is this one. https://code.google.com/p/companion9x/downloads/detail?name=Companion9x-1.39.dmg The one that had the _2146 extension did not work. My machine was downloading the Mountain Lion upgrade when I left for work this morning. I'll install that tonight. ...

Re: Mac update 1.36 (1.37) not working
Thanks Romolo. I need to update to Mountain Lion anyway, and will do that over the weekend. 1.41 still failed on Lion.
I am using the 1.39 you posted above (now in the deprecated section). 1.34 also works well until this is sorted.

Re: Mac update 1.36 (1.37) not working
Hi Steve. Yes, I've been using Companion on the Mac for a year now so .97 was installed long ago. Just had problems with the couple of
recent updates like you and others have had. I'm about to load 1.41 now. Thanks, and that is an excellent description of the installation routine.

Re: Mac update 1.36 (1.37) not working
The 1.39_2146.dmg fails for me on a Macbook with Lion 10.7.5 os. The version Romolo linked above loads and works, but like Mutchy I have not had the transmitter connected yet. I'll be able to try that tonight. Thanks for all the work on this.

I bound two D6FRs last week. I don't remember the details now, but I don't recall having any problems. Are they new? Mine were in use with a 9x before.

Say you have several curves created. If you are looking at curve 1, you can click the tic box on another curve and see it superimposed on the view of curve 1 for comparison.

Hi Ted. I only meant that it took a couple minute for me to realize that the transmitter had to be attached to install the driver. I was on XP Pro by the way. Sure wish I knew what to tell you on your problem.

Re: Can't flash Taranis...
Hi Kilrah. I see one thing in the manual that might help people installing the Windows driver. You might repeat "The first thing to do is to power your radio off and connect it to your computer's USB port." under the installing the driver heading. I jumped straight to installing the driver...

I see what you mean. I can't manually make changes to those fields or clear them either. I don't recall trying in earlier versions of C9x.

Ted, if I read correctly, you say you are trying to type in the field? Use the Open Folder button and then choose a folder on your drive. That should work.

I don't have an msrX, but I do have an msr flying with the orangeRx module (replacement version). I simply plugged it in the 9x and set channel order to TAER in the mixer. The only thing else I added was "sticky throttle cut". This is with Open9x and just a Smartieparts board. No other har...

Have you installed eepe or Companion9x? I didn't have to do anything on my macbook. It just worked with either of those apps running.
