Re: Using FrSky S6R with ersky9x
I have located the script - shows up on page 8 of scripts but does not always appear if the page opens up on 8/12. Just stays blank with a black scroll band that will scroll downwards on the QX7. I have to scroll through all the pages back to 8 when S6R Configure finally appears at top. Managed to n...

Re: Using FrSky S6R with ersky9x
Can someone outline how to access to the menu selection for accessing Mike's .bas script for S6R configuration on a Taranis QX7. I have put the script in the telemetry folder on the SD card and have accidentally stumbled upon it once but can't get back to it. The only description I found for access ...

OK - will do. The volume bar on the stock screen is a nice addition too. Does the title/label change according to the P1 assignment?

Taranis QX7 - Rapid Logical Switch Cycling
Hi Mike I have been using ersky_r221e1 on my QX7 for a couple of months without any problems. When programming a Logical Switch sequence I find that when trying to select L1 - L9 in the right hand column that as soon as I scroll to L* it is rapidly cycling through LA_Z_0_9 about 1x per second and th...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding
About the total timer, thinking further, I can see at least one situation where the total timer would have to be reset.. when using a model as a template to another model. In this case the Total timer needs to be reset, so, yes in my opinion there should be 2 extra options: "Reset Total Timer&...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

It is possible to create a combination of any two of Hi - Mid - Low depending upon which switch is configured first but not all three. Please do...

Re: ER9X & QX7 - Missing Bind Menu
Thanks Mike.
(Face palm) I had switched between Open-TX and er9x a couple of times comparing the features with a preference for ER9X due to running it on a 9X fitted with Extreme Board. I picked up on the PPM/XJT change the first time but have overlooked it this time. Thanks.

ER9X & QX7 - Missing Bind Menu
I have loaded latest pre-release version of ER9X on my QX7. Everything seems to be there except the Protocols Page is missing stuff including Bind and Range Check menus. Should I just re-flash to fix the problem?

Re: 9Xtreme Upgrade Board for 9x Radios
That is really too low.. :o Could it be that the module is stuck in range test mode?? Those figures were read in Range Test Mode - I didn't think they were too bad. Did you ever turn your radio ON without the antenna connected to the RF module? Never. also, do you have other receiver you can test a...

Re: 9Xtreme Upgrade Board for 9x Radios
I generally try to maintain a sideways orientation. I just checked the SWR numbers. On range test it maintains a steady zero while the RSSI drops away with distance and reaches around 48-50 at 60 meters.

Re: 9Xtreme Upgrade Board for 9x Radios
Thanks for your prompt reply Bob. With interruptions to flying due to shift I am really only just getting to grips with the "feedback" nature of telemetry. All my previous flying was non-telemetry and being blissfully unaware of what was happening in the signal strength department. Proves ...

Re: 9Xtreme Upgrade Board for 9x Radios
Hi Guys Not sure if I am in the right place for this but this thread seems to be the most currently active for problem solving. Re: Er9x Manual - Flight Battery Voltage Warning
Thanks for that clarification Mike.
I had it set correctly but for some reason (glitch) L1 and L3 were turning on immediately. So I scrolled the selection of switches L1 - L6 at the end of the L2 Line and when set back on L1 it suddenly started to work correctly with L1 and L2 turning on together.

Er9x Manual - Flight Battery Voltage Warning
I am setting up a model using 9extreme hardware/firmware with Frsky X series module and receiver. I have been unable to create the 3 second delay for the "11. Flight Battery Voltage Warning" as described on page 79 of the Er9x manual - 2015 - v01 using the Logical Switches L1,L2,L3 - attri...

Re: Frsky X Series "Hack" module
It should work if it will fit. The pins inside the module bay are accessible from the internal pads. Don't know why anyone would do that unless fitting a 9Xtreme board to handle the telemetry side of things. But then once a 9Xtreme board is installed the XJT works like a dream direct from the extern...

Re: FrSky XJT COMM1 Used With DHT on COMM2
Is my current DHT internal hookup endangering my 9Xtreme board or are you guys talking about a different problem? DHT wired into pads 7,8,9 Black telemetry wire to DHT using 1k resistor with Y lead to pin 5 of external XJT - as recommended by MikeB. It all works ok - one module powers off and the ot...

Re: FrSky XJT COMM1 Used With DHT on COMM2
Thanks Steven and MikeB for a great product. The interface between 9Xtreme, DHT Internal Module, and XJT External Module is real neat. The single black wire to XJT pin 5 and on to DHT with 1k resistor works fine. The switching interface is great. I love the menu binding for XJT. The only comment I w...

I went to download eepskye as instructed above but could not find one for Mac OS in the lower right section. I don't know if my experience is relevant but here is what happened to me. While rewiring DHT module into COMM 2 using pads 7,8,9, I suddenly encountered the dreaded crackle. I got rid of it when I discovered that the Grnd wire in pad 8 was a bad/dry joint and re-soldered it. Perhaps you are chasing...

My fault - lazy old me. Got sick of disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable every time and left it off until I wire in my XJT module. Found the comment in another thread that this causes the splash screen to go away.

Backlight Not Working - Check Wiring

FrSky XJT COMM1 Used With DHT on COMM2
I currently have my FrSky DIY internal DHT module connected via COMM2 using Pads 7.8.9. This works fine on its own with the switching and I have telemetry enabled and working via the B & W cable going to 9XTreme FrSky socket. I want to add a new XJT external module which will take over the FrSky...
