Re: Lua Scripts on 9xtreme
Could you please rethink that decision? There are so many great and helpful tools, for example PID Tuning on Quadcopters or even changing channel and power of video transmitters. I think the screen is big enough, look at the radio setup tab how much there is written. It would be so awesome to see LU...

Re: Throttle/servos not responding
That shouldn't be a problem too keep talking the English language, I think you all were able to understand me
But good that you mentioned that, I'm 100% sure I would write a message in German

Re: My repair Thread
Mike that's the first thing I have done, I also thought about a workaround. I'm going to check it this afternoon, not sure if it will work but I can try

Re: Throttle/servos not responding
I can't really agree with that conclusion, Testo. Your board suffered electrical damage (and really, anything can happen after something like that) while dcrow57's board had a clear defect. Its not like some boards fail to register a PPM signal and some don't. I believe we're looking at two very is...

Re: Throttle/servos not responding
Well I think I have the same error with my board. Theres an easy way to check if PPM output is working, just install the software SmartPropoPlus. Now open it now take a wire and attach it on the first pin on your 9X's back. Now connect the wire to the Microphone input on your computer, if your PPM o...

Re: My repair Thread
Two days ago i received the MOSFET and I resodlered them. The board powers up and everything seems to work fine, but when I connect my DJT Module it powers up and bind with my D8R-II Plus. But there are no input signals on my receiver, when i put the module into my 9XR (also with ersky firmware) eve...

Re: My repair Thread
Good News Guys, today i received the Texas Instruments TPS54331DR Voltage Regulator for my FrSky DJT Module and i was able to get it back to life. This give me the feeling there's also hope for the 9Xtreme Board, sadly the MOSFET haven't arrived. They're in transit but shipping from China takes some...

Re: My repair Thread
A burned track on the power switch!!! That suggests that track acted as a fuse and blew because of a fault on the 9X. If that track is fixed, and now handles a higher current, then it seems the 9Xtreme turned into the next fuse! Mike. Yes this makes sense, but why does the radio now work again with...

Re: My repair Thread
There ahven't been any Mods on the DJT Module or the Radio, I bought the 9X from a friend. He never opened it and he sold it to me as broken (burned track on the Power switch). I thought it was a random defect but I guess it was a first sign something didn't it's job well. Right after I repaired the...

Re: My repair Thread
Nothing the 9xtreme board should have been able to do to burn up your DJT modules regulator? I believe the DJT failed for some reason and shorted out the battery voltage. What I don't know is the voltage path the battery now takes to the module bay power pin? If it goes via the 9Xtreme board now, t...

My repair Thread
As the title says, I think I am one of the first persons who fried his 9 Xtreme Board. I connected my 9x to my 2s Lipo I used before on my 9XR, after around 15 Minutes of working well and playing around in the settings and menu the 9X started telling me that the battery is low. Right after that the ...

Re: Receive 9xtreme and Installation
From the burned board parts can you tell what circuits were burned up Steven? Not enough details to make any guesses, really. The two components which he asked about are transistors upstream from the voltage regulator. There's a 3rd which I imagine should have been fried too at the same time and a ...

Re: Receive 9xtreme and Installation
Sorry for your pain. I can't help with parts but would like to ask some questions about what could have gone wrong. For the battery to swell I'm assuming it was a Lipo. If so 2,3, cells? The fact that you heard battery low means the polarity should be correct Is the 9X board new or one other mods h...

Re: Receive 9xtreme and Installation

Re: Receive 9xtreme and Installation
Another little problem with the speaker. It always makes an annoying high frequent beep, no matter of the volume configuration. Is there a way to get this away?

Re: Receive 9xtreme and Installation
Cables are plugged fine, what voltage should I have on pin 5 and where does it come from? Pin 5 should be the battery voltage when power is ON. If that is OK, we'll follow through to locate the problem. Mike. Bih Thanks Mike, there was an burned conductor near the power switch. Soldered a wire to th...

Re: Receive 9xtreme and Installation
I installed my 9Xtreme Board today, but everytime I switch on my Radio immidiatly this message appears "SHUTTING DOWN". This would happen if the power switch isn't providing power on one of the pins of the 6-way connector (pin 5 of J4). Check the cable to this is fully plugged in. Mike. C...
