Re: Why I will no longer provide support on the HK 9XR Forum
While I understand your feeling, I think you're being overly sensitive... Several German forums do not allow links to "for sale" sections of other forums for example. There are other examples. It's not just HK. This being said, I also think it is a stupid practice (and I would also have go...

Re: Sv: Turnigy 9XR General
I would like to be able to apply that fix, but this is sadly the view from my office: And it looks like that far to many days of the year not to fly in the white stuff. On a positive note the snow has a nice buffering effect when you land vertically (a frequent occurrence for me). Hey, an office vi...

Sanwa RD8000
Hi All, I just received my second hand Sanwa RD8000 and it looks like the SKY9X board will fit... I'm not an electronics specialist, so I will need LOTS of help to pull this off, but if I do, I will finally have the TX I've always dreamed of, display on top, voice, the software I want/like, no or ve...

Well, that's what it said in our newspaper yesterday as well, they suspect the "stormy" weather to have play a big part. I think they mostly mean it was an accident, not intentional as could have been deduced from the first article...The unfortunate man that lost his life was just standing...

Re: open9x-r1439
I loaded this new version this afternoon, now my backlight is not working anymore, anybody have an idea why? Just read this on RC Groups: The xxxVoice entries are used if you installed a voice module in your radio. It reuses the backlight signal to do voice-related stuff, so it's normal not to have...

Re: open9x-r1439
If there is only one field in a line, it's not needed to press [MENU] to edit it. That's the global rule in open9x, and also er9x if I remember well! Bertrand. OK, but it still behaves differently in that I can also select/highlight the items with the menu button... No problem really, but my backli...

As far as I can tell, yes. if you mean radio setup , I tried all modes: ON (even OFF) sticks, keys, both...Rob Thomson wrote:Is it still turned on in the system preferences?
The radio setup menu is also a bit weird, in that values seem to change right away, I mean without being selected by "menu" first...

Re: Timer issue(s)
OK, this works indeed : |d|>ofs Timer2 6 gives me a beep (not continuous) every minute indeed. But the 10 s step and limited values prevent me from doing much else with it... A lot could be done with 1s (or even 1/2 pr 1/3 s) steps and 1000 or so max. value (2000 or 3000) oops, spoken too soon, afte...

That makes two of us... I'm a big fan of the main screen though, it really shows everything I need on one screen and does not even look cluttered... best feature must be the online help ...Peter wrote:I love the flight fases!

Re: Timer issue(s)
I don't have that... maybe I need to have another (sub)set of the software? I tried Beep (continuous) with d>=Ofs 120 and 60 etc(negative values as well), but could only get it to play when I reset my timer 2 (to 10:00)

Re: Timer issue(s)
Yes, know about that one. maybe I should have been clearer. Can the memory easily old a couple different MP3's , each about 15 minutes long? I have no idea how big they are and what memory the voice module holds. At the moment I'd prefer the option of just triggering my talking timer anyway, I can t...

Timer issue(s)
The two timers I have on my main screen work just the way I would want them to, the top one counting down my motor time (30s for F5J) while the bottom one counts down my total flight time (10 minutes or 15 minutes for F5J). I get a warning for motor time at 20, 10, 3,2,1 seconds... great. After that...

Re: Throttle stick as a flight phase switch
Thanks, that worked a treat, I used v>ofs CH3 and 1 for CS1 , but the value does not seem important, it works just the way I intended. The Open9X help function seems to be as good as better than the software :D Now I need to get my (FP) priorities right, my FP are Power, Brake 1 and 2 (half and full...

Throttle stick as a flight phase switch
I loaded Open9X onto my TX and am quite happy with it. I did however run into "problems" already. I cannot use the throttle stick as a flight phase switch. I tried working around it with custom switches, but Throttle M does not work for me either. Why can't throttle be used this way?Or is ...
