Re: Continued-Infrared module for JR compatible TX, includin
No hardware needed from your side, thanks. I would like to go with an Arduino mini board like C4Vette does. I found these links about S026 code, maybe some helpful stuff in there for your hack. S026 (1) S026 (2) Yes, I think stick trim will work fine. But what about yaw gyro trim ? On S026 there is ...

Re: Continued-Infrared module for JR compatible TX, includin
Maybe someone out there is interested in flying the S026G from a 9x. ?? 20130408_132614.jpg Yeah, here I am !!! :) Watching this thread from the beginning and was hoping this will become true for 9x. I love the very special and great sound of the S026G while flying. ....... Well, I`m your man :D

Re: Search for Replacement 9x Potentiometers!
No, I don`t think so. They are too big and don`t ask for the price. I`ll bet for each of them you can buy a complete radio. Then you will have at least 16 stock pots for spare :D I was searching for those hall pots at a reasonable price for a while, but without luck. IMHO the best way is to make it ...

No, I was nerdy enough to find the only one fixed point.
Well,...after that I was pooped and unable to hold a cup of coffee steady
So I would`d do that for all the remaining 7 pots ....

Re: Search for Replacement 9x Potentiometers!
No, you really need the full voltage range. Anything less will reduce the ADC resolution instantly. You can`t compensate this by standard calibration, it only expand or reduce whatever range is present at the ADC port with the cost of resolution or resulting in dead band.

Re: Search for Replacement 9x Potentiometers!
The sensitivity is not critical. These little magnets are strong enough anyway. I played allot with distance and position to learn how it works best. No doubt that the Allegro device may do the job like the Honey one. But whichever device will win the cup at the end it needs an opamp circuit for fin...

hehe. That`s a funny thing ! :D I just come across this thread and I remember that I have done a working pod mod with hall sensor to one of my 9x. It was designated as a temporary prototype for test. Ohhh, now this makes sense. IO_A is just pulling low at each packet ! Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ
Hi Gohst,
I realized already the missing pullup, but still need your support
With your new hex file the external pullup is still needed and at pin A there is a puls train instead of a steady ground. I got high impedance if no packets are send.

What do you want to know exactly? If the Frsky module is sending data? Otherwise the 9x doesn't really send anything aside from a few setup packets, when it turns on, or you switch models. -Gohst Edit: Here is a version that will pull IO_A low, when the Frsky module is sending packets. Re: OpenXVario flight reports
Anyway, parameters are max sink range, lower and higher end of the "silent" zone, and max. climb range. Units are dm/s. Is this true for openXvario type ? Or is it for WS vario ? I am looking for oXv settings. In custom switches menu I can`t select Vspd as source. Do I missed something ? ...

What is the model set up to have the beeper beeping with oXv ?
I have stock board with stock beeper and open9x with r1947, variant 212-3

Re: OpenXVario flight reports
no time for coding - too much flying
Just returned from the field. several test flights done with my Hype Fox.
No issue here with vario.
Climb rate up to 8m/s
Max hight 300m
Vspd on glide ~ -1,7m/s
Alt always 0 on ground
NICE !!!

Re: Introduction to the openx vario/altimeter
For the Rpm issue, If you have enabled the pot cal method you don`t need to do any further entry to the sketch. In 0pen9x just add a 100% pod mix to the dedicated vario channel, thats it. Then you can turn the pot to vary the gain for Vspd sensitivity. Ohh! Is that all of that stuff I'm trying to k...
