Re: Haptic on Early Taranis
I fixed this in the end by replacing the motor, see my post in the original thread here: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=5686&p=95079#p95079

Re: Haptic Module NOT working (Taranis with FrSky Haptic)
Well, I fixed this in the end by replacing the vibration motor. It turned out one of the leads came loose from the motor casing. Luckily I had a vibration motor laying around, one that is a little bit bigger than the original one. I don't know for sure if the update from 2.0.12 -> 2.0.15 did anythin...

Really? I am going to open my Taranis at once to check mine.
EDIT: Wires seem to be soldered on the right way. Will have to test some more

Re: Taranis Plus Haptic feedback not working?
I just bumped another thread about this. I added the module a few months ago but it never worked. Will update my Taranis to see whether this was accidentally fixed in the meantime.

Re: Haptic Module NOT working (Taranis with FrSky Haptic)
Just installed a haptic module in my B01 Taranis and ... nothing! My soldering is OK and the module looks fine. Enabled the option in the FW (OpenTX 2.0.12) and set it to 'All' but to no avail.
How can this be properly tested?
I got the haptic from Aloft Hobbies and the Taranis from HobbyKing.

Re: OpenTX 2.0.0
Ah, I saw that too when I was setting up my model too with a D4R-II. I had to set it to S.PORT to get Hub/D telemetry going. Explain it left or right, but to the user that is wrong.

Native Mavlink in Taranis, oh yeah
It was announced by kha to be added to OpenLRSng, but he is too busy and doesn't own an APM or other Mavlink device. To have it in the radio directly would be ultimately awesome. Thanks upfront!

Re: OpenTX 2.0.0
+1 for Companion as a Chrome extension! Look at Baseflight, Rapidflash and OpenLRSng configurator, they all are excellent pieces of software. I am sure that Companion can be made like that too. It would give you automatic updates, multi platform support and what not. Good suggestion. Verstuurd vanaf...

Re: convert Mavlink (APM & MPNG) to Frsky
Looks like I monologuing on this thread a bit :) I did a flight test today with a newly completed custom built quad and the Arduino mini IO-board with the MavLink to FrSky firmware V0.5, and took a photo of the Taranis telemetry screen for info. Before I mention that though I did have a win with th...

Great idea! I want to install it into a wing too, I have some right angle headers left so this should be an easy mod. Thanks for sharing

Re: Turnigy 9x wont controle the receivers after Open9x upgr
Running OpenTX, a friend of mine and myself have been experiencing dropouts on our models where this wasn't the case with ER9x or the stock firmware. It came to the light again when we flashed my friend's radio a while back and since he has been messaging me about his models being unresponsive every...

Re: openTx-r2152
But did you send back your EEPROM to the transmitter? The EEPROM has changed between these 2 versions, so if you didn't do it, it's normal that you have a Bad EEPROM error! Yes I tried once using the automatic eeprom backup/upgrade function when I flashed from within Companion9x and once manually. ...

Re: openTx-r2152
Just updated companion9x to 1.20 and it suggested to download the latest openTx for 9X for me. I did and flashed, but got an EEPROM error and all my models were gone. Also, my Smartieparts 2.2 backlight inversion didn't work anymore. Luckily I had a backup of both my firmware and models so I am back...

Re: ER9X + Fat Shark AttitudeSD Head Tracker Problem
Hi there, I got my Fat Shark Attitude SD since a couple of days now and with my Turnigy 9x running Open9x (a revision from about 3 weeks ago, so reasonably new) I have a good head tracker function. I soldered a 3,5mm jack onto the PS/2 cable as per the Fat Shark data cable spec (found here ) and I s...

Re: Walkera MTC-01 'Magic Cube'
Since 2 days I am the lucky owner of a very nice Walkera New V120D02S with a Devo 10 TX. In the setup menu there is an option to change the output power, it goes up to 20 dBm which is equal to 100 mW. The default is 10 dBm (10 mW). See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DBm Too bad the TX's menu is ...

Re: Walkera MTC-01 'Magic Cube'
Should work, simply by plugging it into the trainer port, maybe with a little cable hack. Well, they claim that it only works on WK-2x0x models (correct me if i am wrong) and Android phones. I would like to know whether plugging it into a Turnigy 9x would work ;) That would mean that the Devo 10 I ...

You probably put the BL in upside down! Only one side illuminates, follow the SP installation instructions closely.
I have the white BL and it definitely makes a big difference in readability.

Re: Firmware support for SmartieParts Rev 2.2
I already posted in another thread about this (post is awaiting moderation so I can't link yet), but a very simple fix is to invert the values of BACKLIGHT_ON and BACKLIGHT_OFF on lines 68 and 69 of er9x.cpp. With this change, the backlight behaviour is back to normal. Thanks to the SmartieParts boa...

Re: er9x and backlight
For anyone having installed the SmartieParts 9X Programmer board Rev 2.2, the backlight function is inverted with respect to the firmware behavior. Quote from SmartieParts on this (http://www.smartieparts.com/shop/index.php?main_page=page&id=9): Starting with Rev 2.2, the backlight is designed t...
