Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB

50€ is about $62 + shipping + other components + soldering = more dollars and the skill and time to assemble. We would have to flash the chip too. It would be good to have 9Xtreme-2 though !!! The under 50€ estimation includes all the components and shipping to Finnland for them and the PCB's. I wo...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB

Ok, but you don't see normal users soldering the 100 pin processors, right? ;) Unless someone produces this, I don't see it being viable.. But of course, the files are there, if you can build it, it is already possible. You might be the only one though.. And add all the prices you just posted above...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB

Yes, you can send the 9XT board to be made, buy the components, and build it yourself. I believe Steven released all the needed files to the public. But it would be very expensive I think.. there were a few boards in the past. Skyboard, Ar9x board, ArUni board, 9xtreme board. I think all schematics...

Re: Audio (voice) - Stock 9X PCB

This is very interesting conversation. Is there even any good reason to make simply new voice module with benefits? Would it be reasonable to make new open-source update board with all the bells and whistles? Gerbers in GitHub, so everybody could make their own boards, and we would not be dependant ...

Re: [SUPPORT] OpenLRSng support thread

Hello. It's me again asking questions. So, My OrangeRX Open LRS 433MHz Transmitter 1W won't bind. Supprice supprice. I have two receivers that I have done my self and if I program another of them as a TX they bind, so I am quite certain they work. They are using 100mW Si4432, but to my knowledge Si4...

Re: FrSky and OpenHardware Transmitters: the next step into the future.

If you were following these forums for a while, you would have found out that this is what we have been doing since a few years now. replacement boards and gimbals for the cheap 9x radio case.. A number of addon/replacent boards were designed, SkyBoard, 9Xtreme, Ar9x, and the ArUni that was designe...

Re: FrSky and OpenHardware Transmitters: the next step into the future.

Why not just design that ourselves? Here sure are enough skilled individuals to do it. Community could then licence it to manufacturers. That way the DIY oriented(cheapskates like me) of us could make their own and those that don't want to go that route, could then purchase it from these manufacture...

Re: er9x development

Thanks for the answers. I have decided to go with USB for Arduvoice and Bluetooth for the TX. This keep it simple enough.
BTW. I can confirm that HC-06 connected to the TX and RX pins on the transmitter works great. I can read and write the firmware and eeprom with out any issues.

Re: er9x development

@jhsa I was pondering adding something like ATtiny85 for doing the PPM to UART conversion for the Bluetooth trainer interface, but it's more complicated than that and I don't really have time to investigate it further ATM. According to the Schematics I have, the 3,3V regulator is powered off the 5V ...

Re: er9x development

Thank you for your quick reply! For telemetry to work with my OpenLRSng-module, do I need to do other HW modifications than the telemetry mod? Does ER9X support pass-trough feature of OpenLRSng or what telemetry protocol should I use? I am planing to use these with INav firmware FC. I don't know eno...

Re: er9x development

Hi. I have couple of questions about ER9X. I hope this is suitable place to ask. First. I have understood that the latest firmware for m128 does have a bootloader that enables me to flash the firmware trough UART. Is this correct? What serial pins it is using? PE0 and PE1 (HW_UART0) or PD2 and PD3(H...

Re: Horus DIY

Hi! Where I can find more info about this? I am very keen to try this out. I have STM32F429iDISCO lying around and I think it would make great diy project to stuff it in to my FS-T6 transmitter. I was fiddling with AR-T6 earlier, but the MCU in FS-T6 is running out of memory fast.

Re: FlySky FS-T6 Schematic and Firmware Development

Hello. Here is one enthusiast reporting for duty. I am quite new for the whole embed scene and specially for ST's ARM's. I have been messing about with the TI's micros for some time now. So I have some knowledge in C programming and micros, but I am in quite early stages still. The thing that got me...
