Re: Orange Module running MULTI protocol

If the range is low, it can be that the PA/LNA pins are reversed on the orange module you have.
To swap the pins, open the file "MultiOrange.cpp.orangetx" or "MultiOrange.cpp" and uncomment (remove the "//") from this line which is at the begining of the file:

Code: Select all

//#define DSM_BLUE

Re: Orange Module running MULTI protocol

Compilation should be fixed now. Please try the latest version from Github.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I've posted a new version of Multi on GitHub which I hope will address the above FrSkyD telemetry issues. Can someone test?

Re: 9XR-PRO Hacks and Fixes

Quick post to share my experience on mounting Taranis sticks on a 9XR/9XR Pro. I've followed the post located here to get me starting: http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=122&p=99332#p99332 But once in the radio the sticks are not able to reach the corners anymore since they are touching t...

Re: How to install and configure Trainer over Bluetooth..

Ok my friend's TX was not using the latest voice pack so this is why...
Only the Master TX is giving the warning which is ok.
Sorry for the trouble.
Thanks, Pascal

Re: How to install and configure Trainer over Bluetooth..

Hi,
Trainer is working over bluetooth between the 2 x 9XR Pro ;-)
I've used the bear HC-05 without the PCB since all the stuff provided by the PCB is uneeded anyway and it takes less space in the TX.
I'm wondering if I can add a voice alert on bluetooth link connection lost?
Thanks, Pascal

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Hi Mike,
Will it be possible to get the model select menu to show up at boot if a button (or multiple) are pressed before a model is even loaded?
If you think this is possible, could you give me some pointers and I'll try to give it a go?
Thanks, Pascal

They work fine yes but the problem is that they introduced the 3G/6G mode on the latest models. So the old HT8 modules are not compatible...

Re: er9x development

@Gerhard
There are multiple versions of the HT8 and only the latest can send the 3/6 axis info on CH7... The version is written on the pcb if I remember correctly.
Otherwise you can always use the DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module for this :-)

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio

Hi, I'm looking at the ArduVoice module since I'm running out of models in my 9XR. I still have a lot of free EEPROM space but 16 models are just not enough... I have a couple of questions: 1. 9XR has a built in and working backlight function. Do I really need to connect the backlight on this module...

Re: er9x development

Mike, I've got no idea on how a sbus frame is formated but I'll have a look at the code. If you've got info somewhere I'm happy to get pointers :-) As you know, we need 3 bytes on top of the 16 channels to code the protocol selection and other stuff. I do like as well to get a CRC to be sure of what...

Hi, The Multi-protocol option which appeared in r818 is still a work in progress. Thanks for Mike for checking and including it. I'm working on this new option with Midelic. Re: er9x development

Hi Mike, I've started to implement my changes. I don't really need a lot of more space but still a little more flash and memory... When I will have something working on my 9XR, I'll send it to you for review and test. At that stage you could confirm if it fits in both Flash and RAM for mega64/128 an...

Re: er9x development

Hi Mike, Ok the difference was nothing apart that my username was longer, subversion a bit shorter,... creating a shorter/longer code which is affecting the offsets. So nothing to worry about in fact... I'll compile the 128 as you suggested and upload it. Question for you: If I make changes to er9x ...

Re: er9x development

Thanks Mike for your quick reply. I'm now back to AVR-GCC 4.8.0. 1. Compiling with only PHASES=YES still does not give the same hex which sounds strange. In fact it's similar but some bytes have a value with + 0x20. I don't know if you ever seen this... 2. I tried to compile with CPU=128 PHASES=YES:...

Re: er9x development

Hi, I'm trying to compile er9x rev 817 under Windows found here: http://er9x.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/. After upgrading WinAVR with avr-gcc to 4.9.2, I've been able to build er9x with no parameters. I've not tested the hex file generated but it's not equal to the one available on the repository (eve...
